Directions from London/Chelmsford: Leave the A12 at junction 29, then at roundabout take the third exit onto the A1232 (signposted Colchester). At traffic lights turn right onto Severalls Lane and then at the mini roundabout turn left onto Brinkley Lane. Go straight over the roundabout and then take the fourth exit at the next roundabout (The Gilberd school). Highwoods Sports Centre is located near the car park.
From Colchester Town Centre: From the High Street go straight on to East Hill. At the bottom of East Hill you will come to a roundabout, go straight over. At the next mini roundabout take the left hand fork onto the Ipswich Road (A1232). You will then come to double roundabouts, turn left, then straight over onto Ipswich Road (A1232). Continue along Ipswich Road. At the roundabout turn left by the Rovers Tye pub. Go straight over the roundabout and then take the third exit at the next roundabout. At the next roundabout take the second exit (The Gilberd School). Highwoods Sports Centre is located near the car park.

From the A14: Take junction 42 exit (Bury St Edmunds West). At the roundabout take the first exit on to Newmarket Road. Follow this road until you reach the traffic lights and turn left into Western Way. Follow this road past the Asda mini roundabout to the next mini roundabout and take the 2nd exit. The Leisure Centre car park can be found to your left.
From the south, A134: Follow the A134 until you reach the Southgate Green roundabout. Take the first exit. At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Cullum Road. At the double roundabout go straight over (Parkway) and at the next roundabout go straight over. At the next roundabout turn left onto Risbygate Street. Follow this road past the college to the mini roundabout and go straight over, go along Newmarket Road until you reach the traffic lights and turn right into Western Way. Follow the road past the Asda mini roundabout to the next mini roundabout and take the 2nd exit. The Leisure Centre car park can be found to your left.

From the M11/A414: Leave the M11 at Junction 7, taking the A414 Northbound. Turn right at the Harlow Moat House roundabout, onto the B183. Turn right at the next roundabout into London Road. The entrance to the Sports Centre is on the right.
From the West on the A414 Dual Carriageway: At the roundabout where the dual carriageway ends, turn right towards Harlow. Pass over the railway line. Turn left at the next major roundabout which is the junction with Edinburgh Way. Continue along Edinburgh Way passing straight on at the next three roundabouts. At the fourth roundabout pass straight over at the A1184 into London Road. London Road heads South. Go straight on at the roundabout (the junction with First Avenue). The entrance to the Sports Centre is on the right.
Copleston Sports Centre

From the A12/A14: At junction 57 (Nacton) take the exit signposted Hospital A&E, Nacton and Europark. Filter left and turn left at the bottom of the slip road. At the next roundabout take the right hand lane then the third exit signposted Hospital A&E. Go over the next small roundabout (a retail park is on your right) then turn left at the next one (Sainsburys is opposite). At the next roundabout (passing Kentucky and Subway on left) take the right hand lane and go over again following signs for Hospital A&E. At the next roundabout turn left into Foxhall Road. The entrance to Copleston Sports Centre is the fourth turning on the right, just after the junction with Chilton Road on the left.
Caution: If you use a sat-nav, we recommend that you use the postcode of the Hospice next door to the Copleston Sports Centre entrance, IP3 8LX. The Sports Centre’s published postcode (IP4 5HD) is that of Copleston School.
Tiptree Sports Centre

From Colchester: Follow Maldon Road (B1022) out of Colchester, past Colchester Zoo, for approximately 10 miles. Once in Tiptree the Sports Centre is signposted or the first left into Thurstable School. If you reach the petrol station you have gone too far.
From Maldon: Follow Broad Street Green Road (B1022) road through Great Totham and past Tiptree Heath. Once in Tiptree the Sports Centre is signposted or at the mini roundabouts go straight over. Past the petrol station and turn right after 200 metres into Thurstable School.
From London (A12): After Rivenhall End take junction 23 towards Kelvedon. Follow B1024 through Kelvedon High street. When you reach Feering turn right onto Kelvedon Road (B1024). Once in Tiptree the Sports Centre is sign posted or turn left at the mini roundabout. Past the petrol station and turn right after 200 metres into Thurstable School.

From the A133: Follow the A133 towards the sea and Marine Parade. After passing Clacton-on-Sea railway station, take the 3rd left turn into High Street, then take the 5th left turn into Vista Road. The Leisure Centre is signposted to the right off Vista Road.
